Orange Grove, Johannesburg – The Lamola family is appealing to the public for urgent assistance in locating their beloved brother, Bigboy Cursley Lamola, also known by his nickname “Tsau”, who has been missing since Wednesday, 9 July 2025.
The 2025 missing person case has left family members deeply concerned, as all attempts to trace Bigboy’s whereabouts have so far proven unsuccessful.
Bigboy’s Last Known Whereabouts
According to his family, Bigboy left his residence on Louis Botha Drive in Orange Grove, Johannesburg, on the morning of 9 July, heading to work. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a khaki jacket. However, he never returned home, and his whereabouts remain unknown.
Family members only became aware of his disappearance on 12 July 2025, after his landlord contacted his aunt, raising concern over his prolonged absence. A missing person case was immediately opened with the Tembisa Police Station.

Search Efforts and Family Statement
Speaking on behalf of the family, Victor Lamola, Bigboy’s brother, said:
“We have been to hospitals and mortuaries across Johannesburg and surrounding areas. We even contacted the police, but unfortunately, there have been no signs or information about his whereabouts. We are very worried and desperate for help.”
The family is urging members of the public, especially those in and around the Orange Grove and Johannesburg area, to come forward with any information that could assist in finding Bigboy.
