Missing Bloemfontein Girls Safely Located, Parkweg Police Express Gratitude to Community

Bloemfontein, Free State – The Parkweg Police are pleased to announce that the two missing girls, 16-year-old Alicia Jacobs and 15-year-old Bernice Bosch, who were reported missing earlier this week, have been safely located.

The girls were found this morning on a farm in Jacobsdal, thanks to the swift and collaborative efforts of law enforcement and the vigilant public.

Alicia Jacobs and Bernice Bosch were reported missing on 2 August 2024, after they disappeared from their school in Bloemfontein.

The news of their disappearance prompted an immediate response from the Parkweg Family Violence, Child Protection, and Sexual Offenses (FCS) Unit, led by Constable Nwabisa Stokwe.

The unit worked tirelessly alongside community members to gather information and follow leads.

This morning, the joint effort paid off when the girls were located safely on a farm in Jacobsdal.

The exact circumstances of their disappearance and discovery are still under investigation, but the most important outcome is that Alicia and Bernice have been found unharmed.
