Kraaifontein, Western Cape – Authorities and the community are urgently searching for 6-year-old Emihle Qhilika, affectionately known as Emza, who was last seen on 17 August 2024, around 17:15, in the Wallacedene Informal Settlement.
Emihle is a small child weighing 28 kg and standing 1.4 meters tall.
She has distinct features, including brown eyes, short black afro hair, particularly small ears, a flat nose, and thin upper and thicker lower lips.

Notably, Emihle has a scar on her left arm from a knife wound and a black mark on her left cheek.
At the time of her disappearance, Emihle was wearing a dusky pink jacket, grey jeans, a black t-shirt, and black-and-white tekkies. She was last seen near her home in Wallacedene, Ward 14, Nkululekweni, Kraaifontein.
The circumstances surrounding her disappearance are still unclear, and her family is desperate for any information that could lead to her safe return.
The community has been rallying together to assist in the search, but as time passes, concern continues to grow.
Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding Emihle’s whereabouts to come forward. Please contact Sergeant Sava of the Kraaifontein SAPS immediately at 082 522 1044.
Even the smallest piece of information could be crucial in bringing Emihle back home to her loved ones.
