Amouti, KZN – Police have recovered the vehicle of 58-year-old Papiah Gregory, who has been missing since Sunday, August 25, 2024.
The white Hyundai i10 with registration BP96FZ-ZN was found abandoned in Amouti, KZN earlier today (Wednesday).

Papiah Gregory, a resident of Bluegrove Place in Grove End, KZN, left his home in his vehicle on Sunday and has not been seen since.
He communicated with his family via WhatsApp, informing his son that he had attended a braai and would return the following day.
However, the messages from his number continued until Tuesday, with the content described as unusual by his daughter, which raised concerns.
On Tuesday afternoon, Gregory’s cellphone was briefly turned on and answered by a female voice claiming to be from Empangeni, KZN.
The call was abruptly ended, and the phone was switched off again.
This unexpected development has added to the family’s distress.
The recovery of Gregory’s car in Amouti has intensified the search efforts, but he remains missing.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about Papiah Gregory’s whereabouts to come forward.
