A headman and his mother were shot and killed by unknown suspects at Komkhulu Location under the Nqabarha Administrative Area in Willowvale, Eastern Cape, on Friday, 4 September 2026, at about 5:30pm. A 50-year-old female community member was also shot during the attack and was taken to hospital for medical treatment.
