The family of a man named Oliver Godfrey is appealing for public assistance after he went missing from the Table View area of Cape Town, Western Cape, on Thursday, 1 October 2026. Oliver was last seen at around midday in the Table View and Flamingo Vlei area and has now been missing for several days.
His family and fiancée are deeply concerned for his welfare and say he may be particularly vulnerable. He reportedly left on foot with only the clothes he was wearing, his cellphone and wallet.

According to information provided by his family and fiancée, he was last seen at approximately 12:00 on Thursday, 1 October 2026, in the Table View area.
Flamingo Vlei has also been identified as his last known area.
His fiancée said the couple has been together and living together for eight years. She said Oliver left on foot and did not take additional belongings with him.
He was reportedly carrying his cellphone and wallet when he disappeared.
There has been growing concern as the days have passed without his family being able to establish his whereabouts.
Oliver’s father has also joined the public appeal for assistance and is asking anyone who may know where his son is to come forward.

Oliver is approximately 1.6 metres tall. He has short brown hair and green eyes.
