Samkelo was last seen on February 4 at 13:00, leaving BhekuZulu Primary School. She was wearing a blue skirt, a pink t-shirt with flowers, a camouflage jacket, and brown sandals, carrying a red backpack. According to witnesses, she may have been heading toward the Sasko area or the nearby dumping site, but she never made it home.
As soon as her disappearance was reported, concerned community members and law enforcement launched a desperate search, hoping to find her safe. However, their worst fears became a reality when her body was discovered in a gruesome scene that has left many in shock.
