The Orange Farm community has been plunged into fear and uncertainty following the mysterious disappearance of Naledi Selemela, a young woman last seen on June 28 2024. Her family is pleading with the public to help locate her and bring her home safely.
She was last spotted at Nhlapo Butchery, located in Extension 1, Orange Farm. On that fateful day, she was dressed in all white and wore her hair in the same style as seen in the photograph circulated by her family.
Witnesses report that she was last seen in the company of her boyfriend, raising questions about her whereabouts after leaving the butchery.
“We’re desperate for answers,” said one family member, choking back tears.
“Naledi is a kind-hearted person who would never just disappear like this. We’re pleading with anyone who may have seen or heard anything to come forward. Her absence has left a void in our hearts.”
The family took swift action, opening a missing person’s case at Orange Farm SAPS. However, 6 months later, there are still no solid leads. As time drags on, concerns for her safety grow deeper.
