A family in Botswana is reaching out for help to find their long-lost father, James David Greig, a South African national who went missing after being transferred to South Africa for work in 2008.
His children, led by Richard Greig, are desperately searching for him after losing contact 16 years ago.
James David Greig, also known as “Jimmy,” was born in South Africa and worked as a panel beater.
He lived in Botswana for several years due to his work at Land Rover – Lesedi Motors, where he made a life with his wife and three children.
He married his wife in Botswana in 2000 at the age of 43 and had three children: Richard, Joan, and Valerie Greig.
The family last saw him in Botswana before he left for a work transfer to Cape Town, South Africa, in 2008.
Despite several attempts to find him, the family has had no contact with James since his departure.
They recall him as an introverted person who occasionally drank alcohol but mostly kept to himself.
His family in Botswana is concerned about his well-being and urgently seeks any information about his whereabouts.
