JOHANNESBURG—A desperate search is underway for Khulekani Gasa, a young man from KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) who has been missing for months after traveling to Johannesburg earlier last year. His family is pleading with the public for help in bringing him home.
According to his loved ones, Khulekani left KZN without informing anyone that he was heading to Gauteng. He was later admitted to Helen Joseph Hospital on December 30, 2023, but after being discharged, he mysteriously vanished. No one knows the exact date of his release, and all attempts to trace his whereabouts have failed.
Reports suggest that Khulekani was staying in Newtown, Johannesburg, but tragically, he is believed to have ended up homeless. With limited leads and growing concerns for his safety, his family is urging anyone with information to come forward immediately.
“We are extremely worried about Khulekani. We just want to know that he is safe. If anyone has seen him or knows where he might be, please reach out to us,” said a distraught family member.
