Tshaulu, Limpopo – A desperate search is underway for a young woman who mysteriously vanished after withdrawing social grant money in Thohoyandou Town. The South African Police Service (SAPS) in Tshaulu, Vhembe District, is appealing to the public for any information regarding the disappearance of 24-year-old Tanganani Maselesele, who has not been seen since Friday, 30 January 2025.
According to reports, Tanganani left home that morning around 09:00 AM to withdraw her social grant but never returned. Disturbingly, she last made contact with her family that evening, informing them that she was heading to Tsianda Village as it was too late to travel back home. Since that call, she has completely vanished without a trace.

Her family is in a state of shock and distress, conducting multiple searches in and around the area – all with no success. Police have also launched an intensive investigation, fearing for her safety as each passing hour brings growing concern.
At the time of her disappearance, it is unknown what she was wearing, making it even more difficult for authorities and concerned citizens to trace her whereabouts.

As the search intensifies, SAPS is pleading with the public to come forward with any information that could help bring Tanganani home.
