Help Find Malesela Jan Mokubela (64) from Polokwane Missing since Friday

Polokwane, July 29, 2024 – The South African Police Service (SAPS) Mahwelereng Detectives are appealing to the public for assistance in locating Malesela Jan Mokubela, a 64-year-old resident of Sekgakgapeng village.

Mokubela has been missing since Friday, July 12, 2024, and his family and authorities are deeply concerned for his safety.

Malesela Jan Mokubela was last seen on July 12, 2024, during a celebration at Moshate Village, near the initiation school.

According to reports, Mokubela was with two friends who left him sleeping in a vehicle while they attended the celebration.

When they returned, Mokubela was nowhere to be found. His disappearance has left his family and community in distress, as all efforts to locate him have so far been unsuccessful.

At the time of his disappearance, there is no description of the clothing he was wearing. Despite the efforts of police officers and concerned community members, Mokubela’s whereabouts remain unknown.

The SAPS urges anyone with information about Mokubela’s whereabouts to come forward and assist in the search.
