The South African Police Service (SAPS) in Bethelsdorp is urgently seeking public assistance in locating a missing 20-year-old woman, Joclyne Swarts.
She was last seen on 24 July 2024, leaving her home on Nysschen Way, Extension 29, Bethelsdorp, and has not been seen since.
Joclyne Swarts’ disappearance has left her family and the local community deeply concerned.
Her parents reported her missing to the SAPS on 5 August 2024, after several days without any communication or signs of her whereabouts.
The delay in reporting was due to initial hopes that she might return home on her own.
On the day of her disappearance, Joclyne was last seen wearing a pink jersey, a green long-sleeve shirt, pink jeans, and dark sandals.
The SAPS Bethelsdorp has been working tirelessly to track her movements and gather any information that could lead to her safe return.
Detective Sergeant Kechia Erasmus, the investigating officer at SAPS Bethelsdorp, has appealed to the public for any information that could assist in finding Joclyne.
“We are urging anyone who might have seen Joclyne or knows anything about her whereabouts to come forward. Even the smallest piece of information could be crucial in our search efforts,” said Detective Sergeant Erasmus.
