3 Young Constables Vanished into Thin Air: A Nation Left in Shock

South Africa is gripped with fear and heartbreak after three young Constables disappeared without a trace.
The missing officers — Constable Cebekhulu Linda (24), Constable Keamogetswe Buys (30), and Constable Boipelo Senoge (20) — were last seen Wednesday, 23 April 2025, at the Engen Garage near Grasmere Toll Plaza along the busy N1 Highway.
They were traveling in a white VW Polo sedan (registration: JCL 401 FS), moving from Bloemfontein to their deployment site in Limpopo.
Since then? No calls. No tracker signals. No leads.
Their vehicle tracking device and phones went dead shortly after their last sighting, sending alarm bells throughout the SAPS and the entire nation.
“These are our sons and daughters. We owe it to them — and their families — to bring them back,” said General Fannie Masemola, the National Commissioner of SAPS.

The urgency is real.
A 24-hour Venue Operational Centre (VOC) has been set up. Elite crime intelligence operatives and seasoned detectives from Gauteng and the Free State are working around the clock.
Roadblocks, CCTV footage analysis, and door-to-door investigations are underway.
General Masemola has made an emotional appeal to the public:
“If you have seen anything — no matter how small it may seem — please come forward. These are our officers. Our protectors. They must come home.”
A R350,000 REWARD is now being offered for any information leading to the safe return of the Constables or the arrest of those responsible.
