Parkweg FCS Unit Seeks Public Assistance In Locating Two Missing Girls

Bloemfontein, Free State – Parkweg FCS Unit detectives are urgently seeking public assistance in locating two teenage girls, 16-year-old Alicia Jacobs and 15-year-old Bernice Bosch, who have been reported missing.

The girls were last seen on Friday, 02 August 2024, at approximately 16:30, after disappearing from their school in Bloemfontein.

Details of Missing Girls

Alicia Jacobs was last seen wearing a black trouser, a light blue golf shirt, and a navy-blue school track top. She is described as having a slim build with long brown hair.

Her family and friends are deeply concerned about her safety and are pleading with anyone who has seen her or knows of her whereabouts to come forward.

Bernice Bosch, 15, was last seen wearing a black jacket, black tracksuit pants, and white Puma sneakers. She is of medium build, with shoulder-length blonde hair. Bernice’s family is distraught and is appealing to the community for any information that could help locate her.

The search for Alicia and Bernice is being led by Constable Nwabisa Stokwe from the Parkweg Family Violence, Child Protection, and Sexual Offenses (FCS) Unit. Authorities suspect that the girls may have traveled to the Kimberley area, although this has not been confirmed. The police are following up on all leads and are urging anyone with information, no matter how small, to come forward.
