George, WC – The community is urged to assist in locating Robert Schroder, a 58-year-old male from George, Western Cape, who has been reported missing since 11 August 2024.
Robert, who is medically vulnerable, was last seen attending the Louvain Music & Arts Festival at around 11:00 AM.

Description of the Missing Person:
- Name: Robert Schroder
- Age: 58 years
- Gender: Male
- Build: Average with thin legs and a large belly
- Weight: Approximately 80kg
- Height: 1.70m
- Eyes: Brown/green (wears broken spectacles with large rectangular lenses)
- Hair: Balding, with long grey and brown hair on the sides; thick, unkempt grey beard
- Facial Features: Normal ears, broad nose with a pointed tip, thin and chapped lips, a visible scar on the left cheek
- Tattoos: None
- Clothing: Last seen wearing a grey light jersey, dark track pants, light brown bucket hat, and trainers
- Vehicle: None
Last Known Whereabouts:
Robert was last seen at the Louvain Music & Arts Festival on 11 August 2024.
According to witnesses, he was expected to board a bus back to George after the event. However, he never made it to the bus, and there has been no contact or sightings of him since.

Given Robert’s medical vulnerability, there is growing concern for his safety and well-being. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to come forward.
