The family of 31-year-old Suraan Windvogel is waiting for DNA test results after authorities recovered the body of a woman believed to be the missing Athlone engineer in Kewtown, Cape Town.

Although relatives believe the remains belong to Windvogel after identifying clothing and jewellery found on the body, police say forensic testing is still required before her identity can be officially confirmed.
