Munachimso and the housekeeper, Mochero de Villiers, left their Plumstead home around 11:00 AM on 9 August 2024, reportedly to visit a friend in Hout Bay.

They were expected to return on 11 August 2024, but neither has been seen since. Attempts to reach Mochero de Villiers by phone have been unsuccessful, as her cell phone is going to voicemail.
