Johannesburg, Gauteng – The family of 25-year-old Thabang Kubu is living a nightmare no one should ever endure. Their beloved son, brother, and friend has disappeared without a trace.
Thabang, described as a tall young man with dark brown skin, black hair, and a distinctive scar on his right cheek, was last seen on January 9, 2024, in Brixton, Johannesburg. He had recently started a new job in the area, and his last contact with his family was a phone call on that same day. Since then—nothing. No calls, no messages, no sightings. It’s as if he vanished into thin air.

His family, drowning in worry and desperation, reported the case to SAPS Brixton, where a missing person’s case (01/01/2024) has been opened. But weeks have passed, and still, there are no answers, no clues—only pain and unanswered questions.
“What happened to Thabang?” his heartbroken mother asks, her voice trembling with fear. “He was excited about his new job. He sounded fine when we last spoke. How can he just disappear?”
